This story follows Sandro, one of the first ever Wyverns, as he helps the ruthless Dragon Lord Ciprio bring down the Ryu dynasty. In exchange, Ciprio will grant Wyverns their own nation, and Sandro will become the high lord of his clan. However, that's only if he can get through the legion of Ryus standing in his way, and claim the holy volcano where the emperor protects his seat of power.​
